As with most home renovations, our project had its challenges. Luckily for us, Shane has a genuine desire to work with his
customers until every last detail is to their liking. He spent extra time customizing our trim, mahogany built-in closets,
and wet bar. We were so impressed with the quality of his work, that we then hired Shane to build a custom dining room table
and matching buffet. This gorgeous custom furniture was masterfully crafted exactly to our specifications in style, color and size.
This is when we discovered that Shane's skills transcend craftsmanship into the realm of artistry.

Shane Davis was our finished carpenter on our lake home. He worked diligently and daily on our house, for 9 long months. We had specific ideas on how we envisioned several rooms in our home. Shane listened to our needs and not only met but went beyond our expectations with his final products. We had very small pictures from a magazine that he was able to envision on a larger scale and duplicate to perfection. He made several wood columns and arched entry-ways where the wood was curved by hand. These were an integral part of our interior design and are a talk piece for all who visit our home. From the extensive crown molding throughout every room, to the 12 inch detailed baseboards, Shane mastered and beautifully crafted every detail. He was flexible and met with us early in the morning or late on Sunday nights with never a complaint. He listened intently and stressed the importance of making us happy. Shane drafted and executed a plan for the master closet. It is exquisite with several tie/belt racks, dry cleaning bars, a large mirror, 2 dressers, and a velvet jewelry drawer to name just a few details. When our building process was over, we commissioned Shane to make several pieces of furniture. He again took a small picture and duplicated a bed with attached shelving nooks and a 15 foot shelf for nick-knacks. Shane made a bed out of old church beams that weighs more than 500lbs for our son, and an 8ft. porch swing. Really, there is nothing that Shane cannot build and master. Two of his most important qualities is that he is honest and trustworthy.
We would recommend Shane Davis without reservation for any of your custom carpentry needs.

I cannot thank you enough for all the care, dedication and craftsmanship that you put into all the custom designed and built pieces you created for our home. It was a pleasure to work with you on every project, which can not always be said in custom home building. Your attention to detail and true commitment to making everything to our satisfaction and beyond was immensely appreciated.
The most fun I had was collaborating with you on our dining room table and buffet. Having a dining room that wasn't exactly standard dimensions and my particular taste really called for a custom piece. We knew how talented you were as soon as you began work on our beautiful trim. Then we found out how wonderful you were at creating what we could imagine when building our master closet (which my girlfriends drool over), spectacular bar with coffered ceilings and my very organized and attractive pantry. So when I could not find a table that fit what I was looking for, I knew to turn to you. I loved your ideas of placing settees at the two far ends of an extra wide table. I could not shake that concept. It was perfect! I now have a table that allows me to display beautiful centerpieces and still has room for place settings AND serving dishes! I really look forward to hosting our family holidays! Naturally once we began talking about a custom table I knew we would want a custom buffet to match. I'm not sure which piece gets the highest compliments, the table or the buffet. Everyone that sees the two admires them both and asked me where I found them. I love that I can say a local craftsman made them for us! From design, to size, to choice of wood and stain color it is exactly what I had pictured in my mind. I cannot thank you enough for these two pieces that will be in our family for a long time.
You were easy to work with and your good communication really made a difference when trying to coordinate an entire house project at once. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

I have used Shane for several different projects. I hired him to do custom woodwork on a multi-million dollar home and was very pleased at his attention to detail. His carpentry skills impressed me and most importantly my customer. He was flexible and reliable and does what he says he will do. It was very convenient to have someone like Shane who could run trim, build custom cabinets and build custom furniture.
A regional sales manager for a trim company that covers several states told me that he has only seen 1 or 2 people that could possibly match the quality of Shane's trim work.
